Through Plastic Surgery

Tissue Expansion Explained in my words.

The Picture Gallery

Having plastic surgery to recover from the damage of 4/5 years of self harm is a big thing for me. It took a long time to get here, not just with the overall time of digging in my arm for vessels, but also the time spent waiting until I became viable for such surgery. Big things require big spaces and I guess ultimately, in the blogging world, it warrants a page. Now I don’t know how this whole journey – a journey that has only just begun on creating this page – will affect people so I guess here’s my warning to tread carefully. Maybe the ideas, pictures etc will upset some people, they have trigger warnings on forums for a reason I know, but maybe they can also serve as a warning in themselves about the dangers and damage of self harm. If sharing can help then I’m all for sharing. This is just my growing diary to chart at least one aspect of “getting better”.
